At The Hill Counselling Practice, you’ll find a team of therapists who each bring something unique, different areas of expertise, personal experience, and therapeutic approaches, so you can find someone who feels right for you. The combination of their expertise and services are all housed together under one roof at our premises in Padiham.
Established in 2021 by psychotherapists John Dawson, Michelle Morley and Zoe Dawson, The Hill Counselling Practice is dedicated to delivering professional counselling & psychotherapy services to individuals, couples and organisations across East Lancashire. Some of our therapists specialise in supporting people navigating depression, bereavement, chronic illness, others bring deep understanding of identity, neurodivergence or relationship struggles. What connects us all is a commitment to helping you feel understood and to work with you at your pace, whether online or in-person.
There’s no waiting list, no minimum term contracts. Just a choice of skilled, qualified therapists ready to meet you where you are, with the experience and compassion to walk alongside you.
The Hill Counselling Practice offers:
"Our mission is to provide professional and ethical counselling services, delivered with integrity, to help individuals and organisations achieve impactful change."
We are dedicated to offering a supportive and confidential service where clients can explore their concerns and challenges, gain insights, and develop strategies for growth and change. With a commitment to excellence and ongoing professional development, our aim is to empower clients to navigate life's complexities with confidence and resilience, ultimately fostering positive transformation in their lives.
BOOK A CONSULTATION:
You can use our contact form to tell us a little bit about what is going on for you, select the 'match me' option and we will use our skills and expertise to match you with the therapist we believe is most suited to your needs. Alternatively have a browse through our associates and choose who you think would be a good fit.
We will get back in touch to arrange a time for a no-obligation consultation. A consultation is an opportunity to discuss what is bringing you to therapy, what you would like to achieve, how therapy may help and an opportunity to ask any questions.
BOOK A FIRST SESSION:
If after an initial consultation you would like to proceed and book a first session we can arrange that for a mutually suitable time. We will allow time in the first session to discuss how the session felt for you and whether you would like to continue working together. There is no obligation to book further sessions.
REVIEW:
Throughout the therapeutic process we commit to providing frequent reviews to ensure that you are getting what you need from the therapy and whether there are other areas that need focus.
